Pensions and allowances

Irad Pochtasy pays state pensions and allowances in som at its counters on behalf of the Social Fund. Payment begins on the 10th of each month; if the 10th falls on a Sunday or holiday, on the next working day.

What to bring

• Your ID card
• Your pension book or allowance certificate
• For someone else: a power of attorney certified by a notary or the district office

Delivery to the home

Pensioners over 80 and people with a disability of group I can have their pension brought home by the postman, free of charge. Apply once at your post office with a medical certificate.

To a bank account

Pensions can instead be paid into an account at Talasbank, Ak Bata Bank or Chuy Commercial Bank. Ask the Social Fund at your district office.
