Mail abroad and from abroad
Irad Pochtasy exchanges international mail through the Kazakh postal service under a bilateral arrangement. Outgoing mail is handed over at the Chu Gate exchange and leaves the region through Almaty. Allow three to six weeks in each direction.
Sending mail abroad
Bring the letter to the counter unsealed if it contains anything other than paper. Postage is paid at the counter and printed on a label: Irad Pochtasy stamps are not valid on mail abroad. Parcels of goods cannot be sent abroad.
